The Planting of the Seed. The Beginning of the church at Pool of Siloam Healing Ministry provides a pattern for churches today. We cannot teach the nature and work of the church apart from the Bible model.
The seed would be planted by individual Christians who preached the word and followed in the apostolic message. Acts 8:5-8 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

The Divine Child is characterized by an unbreakable connection to Light, Source, God, Goodness, Nature, Truth, or whatever word best suits. One doesn’t need to be religious to have this archetype, but they do have to feel a connection to some power greater and larger than themselves. They feel this connection as an early part of life experience.

Christian spiritual formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and for the sake of others (II Corinthians 3:17-18). The focus of spiritual formation is the Holy Spirit, who guides the ongoing journey towards union with God. The response is submission.
